services that address the broader educational, health
and social needs of ethnically diverse, urban
communities is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial
leader with a proven track record of managing
scholarship programs with the key components being
mentorship, internship, and overseeing a annual
leadership conference focused on the development of
college students. The youth development coordinator
will be responsible for oversight, coordination and
implementation of all elements associated with the
scholarship program . To match and exceed our goals,
the youth development coordinator will explore and
cultivate all funding opportunities, strategic
alignments that will assure the continued success and
growth of the Taylor Michael’s Scholarship Program.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Lead the development and implementation of the
program
• Identify key funding opportunities for the growth
and development of the program
• Maintain relationships with students and scholarship
committee
• Maintain, strengthen and grow the current elements
of the program (Internship, mentorship and leadership
conference
Requirements:
• At least
7 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a
track record of success in program development and
building relationships
• Ability to cultivate, sustain, and leverage the
current program
• Ability to cultivate relationships that will
directly effect the growth of the scholarship program
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal
skills, including exceptional writing skills, strong
oral presentation and genuine relationship management
skills
• Commitment to working in an entrepreneurial,
fast-growing and mission-driven environment with
aggressive growth goals
• Flexible and adaptable, with a focus on innovation
and consistency
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

communities is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial
leader with a proven track record of fund development
from national foundations, major corporations, and
individual donors. The development director will be
responsible for strategic development, oversight,
coordination and implementation of all fundraising
initiatives. To match and exceed our goals, the
director will explore and cultivate all funding
opportunities, including corporate, foundation, and
individual funding, to ensure the continued success
and growth.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Lead the development and implementation of a
strategic fundraising plan
• Raise funds by researching and cultivating a
variety of foundation, corporate, and individual
donors and support the fundraising efforts of the
board of directors
• Maintain relationships with existing donor base
while building relationships with new donors
• Design and execute innovative and strategic
corporate partnerships
Requirements:
At least 7
years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a
track record of success raising money, and building
relationships; ability to cultivate, sustain, and
leverage relationships with diverse and high-profile
individuals and to maintain a strong network of
contacts; experience generating funds from and
building relationships with respected national
foundations and corporations; highly developed
communication and interpersonal skills, including
exceptional writing skills, strong oral presentation
and genuine relationship management skills; strong
financial aptitude and experience working with both
restricted and unrestricted dollars; commitment to
working in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing and
mission-driven environment with aggressive growth
goals; flexible and adaptable, with a focus on
innovation and consistency. Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent experience.
